Description

Inquiry Overview:

Students will examine Germany's successful efforts to work toward a sustainable environment. They will develop an understanding of the concept of sustainability and how its three pillars - environmental, social, and economic - must be incorporated for successful implementation. Students will research various German companies' sustainability efforts such as recycling, waste management, and solar energy to come up with an effective elevator speech and share information about sustainability efforts with their classmates.
