Daniel Stähr was born in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in 1990 and is an economist and freelance author. He is currently doing his doctorate on the subject of ‘Narrative Economics’ at the FernUniversität in Hagen. His first book Die Sprache des Kapitalismus (The Language of Capitalism) was published by S. Fischer in 2024, which he wrote together with cultural scientist Simon Sahner. The two were nominated for the German Business Book Prize 2024 and were honoured with the Readers' Prize.
