Berit Glanz

Berit Glanz, author and cultural journalist, studied in Munich, Stockholm and Reykjavík and worked at the Department of Modern Scandinavian Literature at the University of Greifswald. Her debut novel Pixeltänzer was published in 2019 and received the Hebbel Prize in 2020. She also published her first poetry collection, Partikel, in 2019. Her second novel, Automaton, followed in 2022. She is a member of the editorial team of the digital arts and culture magazine 54books and publishes the internet culture newsletter Phoneurie. In 2023, she published her non-fiction book Filter in the series Digitale Bildkulturen (Digital Image Cultures). Her third novel, Unter weitem Himmel (Under Wide Skies), was published in 2025.
