Jenni Zylka lives in Berlin and works as an author, critic, and moderator. She writes and speaks about film, music, and media—for Spiegel, taz, Tagesspiegel, Rolling Stone, RBB, Deutschlandradio, and ZDF, among others. In addition to novels, nonfiction books, and screenplays, she writes film texts and regularly moderates film discussions. At the Berlinale, she directed and curated the “Perspektive Deutsches Kino” section, where she is a delegate for young German filmmakers and curator of the Panorama. She also heads the series section of the Nordic Film Days, is a member of the Grimme Prize jury and numerous other film juries.
