Frédéric Valin lives in Berlin and works as a journalist for publications including taz, nd, der Freitag, and Amnesty Journal. His book Pflegeprotokolle was included in the program of the Federal Agency for Civic Education. His most recent publication is the autobiographical novel Ein Haus voller Wände . Valin also works as a caregiver in a residential group for people with so-called intellectual disabilities.
