Jörg Magenau works as a literary critic and is the author of the double portrait Schmidt – Lenz. Geschichte einer Freundschaft. His most recent publications include the novels Die kanadische Nacht and Liebe und Revolution (Klett-Cotta 2021, 2023), as well as the essay collection Die Kunst der Zustimmung.
