My favourite AI in culture project at the moment is… ideas and explorations around the Golem, an andromorphic being of Jewish cultural tradition, as a metaphor of AI.

By 2030 I would like to have an AI app which… does the laundry, makes the sandwiches for the kids, mops the floor and cooks delicious soups - you get the idea.

My worst AI nightmare is… having Alexa as a family member, i.e. living in a world where everyone is sucked into smart technology and is wired at all hours. I fear the learning computer that controls our daily lives.

The future of AI needs… regulation about access and ownership, constraints to avoid data mining for capital ends, a better understanding of potentials and good examples of AI technologies, guaranteeing that there are safe spaces for collections of human culture.
