Pelin Kivrak © Pelin Kivrak Dr. Pelin Kivrak is a writer, scholar and a collaborator at Refik Anadol Studio, whose research focuses on curatorial opportunities and challenges of working with AI-based art. She earned her PhD from Yale University in 2019 with a dissertation on representations of responsibility in contemporary literature and visual arts. Since then she’s joined Harvard’s Mahindra Humanities Center as a postdoctoral fellow.

My favourite AI in culture project at the moment is...Daniel Ambrosi’s Dreamscapes project.

By 2030 I would like to have an AI app which…will also benefit those without access to the app.

My worst AI nightmare is…some populations becoming marginalized by AI systems.

The future of AI needs…to respond to its built-in biases more effectively.
