A multi-instrumentalist, more like a guitarist, more like a minimalist, more like something else... Phạm Thế Vũ’s sound exudes the sound of guitar, synthesizer, effect pedals, and recording manipulation. 

Beginning as a self-taught classical guitarist, from 2013, he plays the role of a  main member/ guitarist of Rắn Cạp Đuôi collective and has worked on several interrelated projects, as well as productions and residencies. Vũ is known for using atmospheric audio manipulation, engineered during performances and recordings. His first album, Thinh, contains lengthy recordings that contemplate Vietnam’s landscapes. He recently released Ồ, characterized by abstract drones punctuated with sudden enlightenment.
