I Am Water

Primary School (9-11 years)

A drop of water falls from a cloud onto a young girl struggling with the effects of drought. Together, they embark on a journey to the sea, where the drop witnesses the challenges caused by water scarcity, endangering both the girl and her community. This animated short film, created by La Cancán and written by Gemma Sanz, explores the impact of climate change on the water cycle from an ecofeminist perspective. With vibrant visuals and narration by actress Irene Montalà, the film presents scientific insights from experts at the University of Girona and CEAB, making complex environmental issues accessible and engaging.
