Katharina Wedler

Since November 2019 Katharina Wedler has been working as an expert for teaching at the Goethe-Institut and in her new position she has found a hub for her previous activities.
After Katharina Wedler has dealt with teacher training from a conceptual and academic perspective, she is now putting the knowledge she has already acquired into practice and supporting teachers in their needs directly on site in the countries she serves: Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela. Especially in the professional field, she can draw on and expand on her teaching experience in German as a foreign language.

Part of her work is also the implementation of various projects, such as the Science Film Festival, which Katharina is particularly looking forward to, as this gives her the opportunity to become active on location. Through her studies of Theatre and Media Studies she has also gained valuable insights into these areas and built up a good network, which she can now draw on. In the follow-up work and preparation of projects, Katharina Wedler can draw on her experience as an editor and media designer and bring this to bear in press and public relations work, with the aim of increasing the visibility of PASCH.
