The Goethe-Institut Chile, the Science Film Festival and the Festival de Artes Verdes (FAVsur) in Chile are joining forces to organise the “FAVsur × Goethe-Institut Science Film Festival” series, which will take place between 22 October and 22 November in the Los Lagos region, in southern Chile.
Eight short films will be screened at the Molino Machmar Art Centre (CAMM) and in rural schools across the region, where an eco-artistic outreach programme will be held with children and teenagers.
FAVsur is a festival that brings together the arts, ecology and education to explore our place in nature, the planet’s biodiversity and the challenges of its conservation. From southern Chile, it invites us to share experiences that broaden the way we observe, learn and understand the relationships that make life possible.
