Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Berlin & Beyond Film Festival with opening night at the iconic Castro Theatre and further screenings at The Vogue Theatre, SFMOMA’s Phyllis Wattis Theater, and Rialto Cinemas Elmwood in Berkeley.

Official Selections Preview:

Amrum (dir. Fatih Akin) – A tender coming-of-age story set on a remote North Sea island during WWII, from the Golden Globe-winning director of In the Fade.
Köln 75 (dir. Ido Fluk) – The true story of how teenage promoter Vera Brandes orchestrated Keith Jarrett’s legendary 1975 piano concert.
Miroirs No. 3 (dir. Christian Petzold) – A modern gothic fairytale exploring grief, connection, and human resilience.
