She Reel: Women in Society

Film Festival | NAAS films show women's stories to spark dialogue and change through the art of cinema.

The NAAS Film Program, a collaboration of UAE cultural institutions including the Goethe-Institut Gulf Region, the Embassies of France, Canada, Switzerland and Austria, as well as the Italian Cultural Institute of Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Manarat Al Saadiyat, proudly presents a film series dedicated to women in society. “She Reel: Women in Society. Stories That Inspire, Change That Empowers".

Through screenings of films that showcase diverse perspectives and the challenges faced by women globally, the project aims to provoke thought, inspire discussion, and raise awareness about issues of gender inequality. By using storytelling and cinematic artistry, it seeks to foster understanding and solidarity in the pursuit of a more equitable world for women.

NAAS “She Reel: Women in Society" will commence on January 8, 2025, and will run throughout the entire first semester at Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi. All film screenings will be announced via social media and on the Goethe-Institut Gulf Region's website.
