Michèle Amba Belinga is a young Cameroonian balafon artist, widely recognized as one of the rising stars of Cameroonian music. Winner of the Goethe‑Discovery Prize 2026 and recipient of several other awards, she is establishing herself on both the national and international stage.
Her artistic practice blends African traditions with contemporary influences such as jazz. Through the balafon, she creates a universal music that reflects themes of identity, transmission, and hope.
Deeply committed to her art, she works to promote African cultures and to pass them on to younger generations.

Essama Ella is a Cameroonian choreographer, performer, and circus artist, passionate about creating dialogues between urban, contemporary, and traditional dances. Trained between 2019 and 2023 by both local and international professionals, he has developed a hybrid, sensitive, and grounded choreographic style.

Winner of several national and international competitions, he is distinguished by his energy and creativity. He has performed at major events such as the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) 2021. He also serves as the artistic director and choreographer of the company EX‑KRYTUR.

Djopnang Notue Yves Borel, born in Bandjoun, is a young Cameroonian visual artist. Specializing in engraving, painting, and sculpture, his work explores the breadth of human capacity — balancing strength, fragility, and resilience. His artistic achievements have earned him recognition as Laureate of the COJES of doual’art, recipient of the Second Pascal Mathyne Tayou Prize, and the Goethe‑Discovery Award. Through material and gesture, he develops a visual language that places the human experience at the heart of his creative practice.

Mbi Praxcedis Wainko is a Cameroonian artist and composer who began writing music as a teenager, starting her musical journey in school and church choirs where she developed her vocal ability and passion for performance. Around 2020, she began performing covers while building her stage presence through competitions and events in Buea, Douala, and Yaoundé. Praxcedis has since performed on numerous stages across the Southwest Region, gaining valuable experience as a live performer. This journey has earned her recognition, including being a finalist in the Truce Music Contest in 2022 and winning second place at the Mustard Seed Talent Show in 2025.
