We promote cultural exchange, education and social discourse

We foster bilateral cultural exchange programs between Germany and Cameroon. We initiate film series, exhibitions, concerts, seminars and festivals, always with the goal to facilitate artistic production, reception and reflection involving actors from both countries.

Initiated by the Goethe-Institut The ‚"Découverte" platform is designed to provide young, talented Cameroonian artists with an opportunity of presenting their artistic talents and meeting with eachother.

Film training and production

10 Jours pour un film

Developed within the framework of the Ecrans Noirs film festival, the "10 days for 1 film" platform was created in 2016 and aims to promote Cameroonian cinema through the detection of young talent, training and the production of short films.

Artistic Tour

Goethe Mobiarts

The Goethe MobiArts program, initiated by the Goethe-Institut, enables artists from Sub-Saharan Africa to travel across the continent using the Goethe-Institut network, thereby engaging in exchange with local artistic scenes. The program supports performing artists in the fields of storytelling, dance, music, slam poetry, and theatre.

Television

Zoukoulou

Zoukoulou is a TV programme for young people. Produced by the Goethe-Institut Kamerun in collaboration with IFCPA-CRTV and ANTS Graphics, it combines DIY, discovery of professions and fairytales.

Residence

Residency program „Between Congo and Elbe”

‘Between the Congo and the Elbe – A Dialogue Between Rivers’ is an artist residency program born out of the twinning of the cities of Dresden (Germany) and Brazzaville (Republic of Congo). Its aim is to create a space for encounter and exchange between the artistic scenes of the two cities, promoting mutual discovery, the circulation of ideas and networking among artists.
