The face-to-face seminars on the focus "GFL – young people learn differently?" met with a great response in 2023. In 2024, the multiplier network will revisit the focus on "GFL for young people" and combine it with new topics: Movement and mini-projects.

Once again, the focus is on young people and their physical, cognitive, and social development as well as the resulting "original" behavior:  Young people who, for example, prefer to sleep in the first lessons of the morning or who have problems with concentration. However, the curiosity and enthusiasm of this age group can also be used for songs and games or for activity and production-oriented lessons in which they are at work themselves and work with their hands.
Hence the crucial question: How do I as a teacher design effective, youth-oriented, and motivating lessons? This year's concept for the face-to-face seminars sees a solution in understanding the cognitive developmental stage of young people and using movement and mini-projects in German lessons.

Target group: Secondary school teachers of German in Cameroon (in the respective regions)
Number of participants: 25
