What is the COLLECTIVE CREATIVE Workshop?

Open Call for all creative minds who are facing the challenge of how to capture an inspiration and transforming it into innovation – into future.
Approaching creativity without fear but with excitement.
A project, a client, a deadline, a blank page, and no ideas? Too many ideas – confusion - how to sort and narrow it down?

Within the “COLLECTIVE CREATIVE” Workshop:
- we assess everyone's challenges
- we identify what is needed to overcome obstacles
- we approach new ways to access and expand creativity
- we discover sources of inspiration
- we capture inspiration
- we collaborate with one another
- we execute what has been discovered
Creativity – we learn more about tools and ways to approach, manifest and execute creativity.

The program:

We will explore tools and methods to boost creativity, ways to access our creative minds more easy.
We will go on excursions and explore sources of inspiration, meet creative working people.
We will build groups and work on challenges within which we will use what we've explored.
We will get an insight of the approaches to creativity of people from various creative sectors.
Small groups will be build to work on specific projects which we will present to the public at the end of the workshop at the Goethe-Institut.

Trainer:

After graduating in fashion design from the BEST-Sabel Design School Berlin in 2012, she founded her own fashion label ENGST, worked as a stylist and has given workshops about the insight of the work and responsibilities as a fashion designer at the BEST-Sabel Design School in Berlin.
Since 2014 she has given workshops about “Pattern Cutting & Fabrication - Precision & Quality” within the annual “Forum Des Metiers De La Mode Et Du Design” in Yaoundé – Cameroon.
For the past two years she has worked as fashion designer and productions head for African Mosaique and as trainer for the African Mosaique Fashion Incubator.
After this period she is focusing more on creative workshops and collaborations between different creative fields in Addis Ababa and Berlin. In the past she has already worked in projects with artists, musicians and photographers and would like to continue and expand this in her work. As well she starts working as a consultant for upcoming designers and start-ups in the creative sector.
Convinced of the inspiring power of sharing and collaborating within creative fields she has conceptualised the workshop with the goal to create a network for creative minds.
