Chewatacon is a concept for the first gaming festival in Ethiopia. Starting from October 2020, the Chewatacon team, together with partners, organized gaming nights, gaming competitions and engaged with a number of gaming communities under the Chewatacon: Year Zero with the aim of raising awareness, fostering interactions and building communities.
The purpose of the closing session for Chewatacon: Year Zero is to bring together stakeholders in the Ethiopian Gaming Sector under one roof; to facilitate intra-sectoral networking, recognition and last but not least archiving and broadcasting the event for awareness creation and community acceptance.
Attendance to this event is by invitation only.
