Workshop 1

When? On the 11th of May, 5-6:30 pm GMT+2 
Where? Online in Zoom

What is it about? Racism has a long history also in Germany that influences the racism of today as well. In the training we want to have a look at racism and reflect on our own social position in this regard. 
 

Workshop 2

When? On the 18th of May, 5-6:30 pm GMT+2
Wo? Online in Zoom

What is it about? Racism in German textbooks? In this workshop we will analyse how racism is being reproduced in educational materials.

Expert

Josephine Apraku is an expert in the field of African studies and intersectional anti-racist education. Josephine Apraku has been working as a teacher at the Alice Salomon University and Humbolt University in Berlin and as a columnist for the magazines such as EDITION F and Missy Magazine.
