 A Youth Exchange Programme

Exchange2Change is the Goethe-Institut’s vibrant youth mobility and exchange programme, connecting young people from the UK and Germany. Whether exploring creative projects, developing leadership and team skills, or gaining insights into vocational careers, participants engage in meaningful cultural exchanges that shape their futures and build lasting connections across borders.

Future Vocational Pathways

Learn about vocational training in the UK and in Germany while exploring Kempten and Burton/South Derbyshire and developing a project together with the other participants. For young people aged 18-22 in vocational training in Kempten and the Burton & South Derbyshire College.

Creative Horizons: Stories from different corners

Develop a creative project while discovering Kempten (Germany) and London (UK) and meeting other participants from both countries. For young people aged between 14 and 17 who live in the UK or Bavaria (Germany). 

  • Application deadline: 22.06.2025
  • Exchange: 18.-28.10.2025

Creative Horizons: Your Vision for a Peaceful Future

Develop a creative project with a focus on democracy/participation while discovering Bochum (Germany) and Manchester (UK) and meeting other participants from both countries. For young people aged between 14 and 17 who live in Greater Manchester or North Westfalia (Germany).

  • Exchange: 09.-19.11.2025

Develop a creative project while discovering Berlin (Germany) and London (UK) and meeting other participants from both countries. For young people aged between 14 and 17 who live in Germany or the United Kingdom.
