EU4Dialogue project presentations – South Caucasus and Moldova

In March 2025, the Goethe-Institut Georgien presented a special excerpt of the exhibition ACROSS THE DIVIDE in Tbilisi, following its successful premiere in Brussels. The exhibition showcased outstanding artistic collaborations developed over the past four years within the EU4Dialogue residency program.
For the Tbilisi edition, two works were shown for the first time locally:

  • Research on the Monument of Friendship of the Youth of the Transcaucasian Republics (2024–2025)
  • Anthology of South Caucasian Fairy Tales (2022–2025)
The presentation took the form of a "house-museum installation", inviting visitors to explore the fairy tale anthology and its accompanying illustrations, while also offering access to the monumental research through immersive VR technology.

Curated by Irina Kurtishvili, the exhibition featured not only the two works but also a selection of video documentation from the EU4Dialogue residency program, implemented by the Goethe-Institut Georgien as part of EU4Dialogue – Component 3: Improving exchanges across the divide through education and culture.
