Creative Connections - Grant Call for Individuals

After you have authorised yourself on GAP, select the "Creative Compass Georgia" funding field in the "New Application" column and select the type of funding in the next field: Creative Compass – Creative Connections Grant call for Individuals.  

The application can be submitted in English or Georgian. If the application is submitted in Georgian, a translation into English will need to be provided by the applicant as an annexes to the application. This translation can be created using automated translation services. The applicant, however, must ensure the general adequateness of the translation.

Only one application per applicant is permitted. Submission of more than one application leads to exclusion of the respective applicant from this funding opportunity.

The application is completed once and cannot be changed after submission. We are reviewing the application and might request additional information via GAP from you.

Click the - Save and Submit button at the end of the application. You will receive confirmation of the application's receipt to your registered email address.

• Physical persons who are (1) citizens of Georgia, (2) at least 18 years old, (3) currently reside in Georgia, and (4) active in creative, cultural and/or community field in the regions of Georgia.
• Physical persons who are (1) citizens of Georgia, (2) at least 18 years old, (3) currently reside in Georgia, and represent a creative space, cultural & community organisation, studio, gallery, theatre, or another co-creation space which operates in Georgian regions.
  
  Any application must be submitted by a consortium/team consisting of at least three people.

Any application consists of a consistent set of multiple activities which clearly serve the achievement of the above-mentioned objectives. These activities might include the following (non-exhaustive list):

• Community Art Projects: collaborative public art installations, street art, murals, performing acts, performances, happenings, interactive actions with public, etc.
• Cultural, creative, and community events (or: series of events) focusing on cultural/artistic expression in happenings, performances, art movements/activism; bringing together and connecting different community representatives and artists.
• Community Engagement Programs: theatre or music performances, community gatherings, storytelling sessions, discussions, guided tours, community games, etc.
• Mobile Cultural Units: traveling exhibitions, interactive events, or performances, etc. that bring cultural experiences to remote or underserved communities.
• Providing access to cultural spaces: residencies in pre-existing cultural spaces for creatives residing in Georgia.

Any grant application must necessarily include active community engagement as well as involvement of the public in the process. Actions must happen in the regions of Georgia.
