Events in each participating country mark the culmination of the EU4Culture project. With a diverse and engaging program, the festivals showcased and promoted the work of local artists and encouraged engagement of local communities and creative collaborations amongst artists from the Eastern Partnership region.
The local festivals:
- Refined the cultural life of the cities through live performances, sound and light installations, film screenings, workshops, masterclasses, panel discussions.
- Encouraged knowledge exchange and regional collaboration through cultural exchanges and collaborative performances involving artists and cultural professionals from different Eastern Partnership countries.
- Promoted intercity collaborations by involving artists from different non-capital cities.
- Promoted innovation in culture by combining contemporary art with more traditional cultural activities and showcasing innovative and digital performances.
