意大利: Perfection

Perfection Book Cover

Perfection is the story of a young Italian couple who move to Berlin in search of the perfect life: a stylish apartment, a circle of cosmopolitan friends, fulfilling creative work — all beautifully curated for public consumption. But beneath the carefully crafted surface, cracks begin to appear. In this sharp, witty, and quietly unsettling novel, Vincenzo Latronico dissects the illusions of a global generation caught between aesthetic aspiration and existential emptiness. A portrait of modern urban life in the age of Instagram — where appearances are everything, and nothing is quite as it seems.

作者:

Vincenzo Latronico
Vincenzo Latronico (Rome, 1984) is one of the most original Italian authors of his generation. A writer, translator, and essayist, he has published novels and reportage that keenly explore the languages of modernity, the aesthetics of global capitalism, and the hidden layers of human relationships. He contributes to various Italian and international publications and translates from English and German. His clear, sophisticated style—capable of crossing genres and blending narrative with reflection—has won over both readers and critics. Among his most acclaimed works are La mentalità dell’alveare (2021) and Le perfezioni (2022), the latter shortlisted for the Premio Strega.
