The Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, The Goethe-Institut and Emperor Cinema are proud to present the City of Dreams and Fears – Film program! As part of the events related to the City of Dreams and Fears Game Jam which will take place in early November, this selection of 5 science fiction films screened between the 24/10 and 01/11 aims to inspire the participants, entertain the general public and highlight the respective expertise in this area of the French, German and Hong Kong filmmakers.
Discover a parallel Hong Kong in “I Love Maria” and “Wicked City”! Be challenged by the visionary approach of Rainer Werner Fassbinder in “World on a Wire”! Be amazed by the creativity and imagination of René Laloux, Moebius and Jean-Luc Godard with “Time Masters” and “Alphaville”!
Most screenings will be followed by a talk with an expert or creative talent involved in the making of the films.
