Get ready to uncover the secrets of Sham Shui Po. Join us on October 26th (Sun) at 2PM for an immersive walking tour that blends history, art, and urban exploration!

We will journey from the creative heart of JCCAC to the nostalgic Mei Ho House, then marvel at the futuristic mural adorning the Golden Computer Centre. Ever seen an abandoned roller coaster? You will spot one when we check out the iconic Dragon Centre before heading past the historic Sham Shui Po Police Station. Finally, we will end amidst the vibrant street art under the Tung Chau Street flyover.

With Alexandra Unrein guiding you through the unique street art and Elsa Polycarpe sharing insights on city planning and development, you will discover hidden alleyways, surprising stories, and a whole new perspective on Sham Shui Po. Limited spaces available for this unique urban adventure.

This walking tour is a Learning Session programme of the project "City of Dreams and Fears", co-organised by the Goethe-Institut Hongkong, the French Consulate General of Hong Kong and Macao, and the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong. This event is in collaboration with the Alliance Française. The project is co-funded by the Franco-German Cultural Fund.

Note to Participants:
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes for the walk and to bring your own water.
  • The event involves extensive walking through bustling streets and some stairs along the way. It is not suitable for those who may find it challenging. Please evaluate whether this suits your physical condition before registering.
