Minas Edam is a Sudanese artist/designer and short film maker.
She graduated from Sudan University with a Bachelor in Fine & Applied Art. In her previous work she has been focusing on her practice as a designer, but also gained experience in theatre, puppets, and photography.

Minas Edams animation movie “Bride of the Nile” is based on an old Sudanese tale about a beautiful lady, who was thrown into the deep blue of the Nileand later rescued by the blue nile crocodile. Her film has its own character, which she produces by working with self made puppets out of clay.
