European Houses of Culture

EUNIC (The European Union National Institutes of Culture) has been supporting Colomboscope through its Cluster Fund since 2015. In 2019, in the frame of the EUNIC global project "European Houses of Culture" EHoC the EUNIC Sri Lanka Cluster (Goethe-Institut, British Council & Alliance Française) together with Fold Media Collective were chosen as an innovative model for cross-cultural collaboration.

Cross-cultural collaboration

EUNIC (The European Union National Institutes of Culture) has been supporting Colomboscope through its Cluster Fund since 2015. In 2019, in the frame of the EUNIC global project "European Houses of Culture" EHoC the EUNIC Sri Lanka Cluster (Goethe-Institut, British Council & Alliance Française) together with Fold Media Collective were chosen as an innovative model for cross-cultural collaboration. Colomboscope, as one of five projects from over forty applicants from different countries convinced the international jury of arts and social enterprise experts.

As a reaction to the pandemic, Colomboscope turned to several visual artists, musicians and filmmakers who have been associated with the festival’s network with the wish to sustain primary acts of reading, listening and viewing.
