Mentors

The photo project Humanity & Earth is closely supervised by the two mentors Andy Spyra and Liz Fernando. 

 
The two full-time photographers have many years of experience, but both work in very different areas, with very different objectives and under different conditions. Already during the photography road trip in 2018 it turned out that Andy and Liz complement each other very well as a mentoring team. In the next year during the photography Masterclass the good cooperation between them was proved. Liz Fernando and Andy Spyra agree that mentoring with them as a team works so well because they have entirely different approaches to photography.

Liz Fernando, a German of Sri Lankan descent, is an award-winning artist and photographer. She holds a degree from the prestigious LCC photography programme at the University of Arts, London.

Andy Spyra is a German photographer, who was born in 1984 in Hagen. After graduation, he traveled through Central America and Southeast Asia, where he discovered his love for photography.
