Pluralism, a show choreographed by Umeshi Rajeendra from Mesh Dance theatre, will be taking place on the 5th and 6th of April at Park Street Stables, Colombo. Its aim is to bring awareness to dance as non-verbal form of communication and method of overcoming borders as well as to raise funding due to which their dancers will be able to train internationally and additionally to support ‘Room to Read’, a non profit organization focused on creating a habit of reading in rural communities and teaching young girls life skills to navigate their life.
With original music by Natasha Senanayake, Pluralism will premier three works of art, one of which will even be showcased at Denison University in the US in April.
