Passage of the Sri Lankan theatre after the 90th decade.

The last three decades could be called the period where enormous and special changes took place in Sri Lankan theatre. Especially the early and the latter part of the 80th century could be considered as a transition period due to ethnic violence. Early nineties saw the advent of many young theatre people. By now, after 3 decades two more generations have been added to those. All these people are involved in the art of theatre even under many difficulties and pressures.
