Picking up the Pieces - From six months of silence
The Chamber Music Society of Colombo (CMSC) in association with the Goethe-Institut invites friends of classical music to pieces of Beethoven, Bach and Durante. The three concerts in September 2020 will be performed by Lakshman Joseph-de Saram (violin), Cynthia Fernando (violin), Sulara Nanayakkara (violin), Haasinee Andree (violin), Avanti Perera (violin), Othman Hassan Majid (violin), Amasha Tissera (violoncello), Nilanthi Weerakoon (contrabass) and Sanuja Goonetilleke (flute).

J. S. Bach / L. Van Beethoven: Fuga 22 in B minor BWV 867/Hess 38 – for strings
J.G. Albrechtsberger / L. Van Beethoven: Fuga in D minor (op. 1 no. 6) – for strings
J.S. Bach: Fuga in G minor BWV 542 – for strings
L. Van Beethoven: Serenade – for Flute, Violin and Viola
A. Salieri: Concerto da Camera – for flute and strings
F. Durante: Concerto for strings no. 1 in F minor
G.F. Händel: Concerto Grosso (op. 6 no. 4)
A. Corelli: Concerto Grosso (op. 6 no. 4)
Tickets obtained for the 29th March 2020 concert can be exchanged for tickets for one of the three shows at the Goethe-Institut Library Wednesday – Friday 10.00 am – 5.00 pm until Friday 11th September.
The remaining tickets will be available for purchase from the Security post from Saturday 12th September onwards.
In line with health regulations, we are limiting our maximal venue capacity to 50 percent. We kindly ask you for your understanding.
