Celebrate this friendship by joining the festival! The European Union (EU) has been a partner of Bangladesh from the very beginning. The EU countries have supported our independence and since then the partnership between the EU and Bangladesh has become a trusted one. On the eve of Bangladesh’s 50 years of independence, we want to celebrate this partnership with a film festival. You are welcome in this festival with 7 Bangladeshi, 7 European feature films and 7 international short films. The EU films are subtitled in Bangla.

The EU – a trusted partner of Bangladesh since independence – cooperates with Bangladesh's government on many crucial areas including women empowerment, climate change, food and nutrition security and good governance. The EU and its Member States are also launching two new Team Europe Initiatives: Decent Work and Green Energy Transition.
