UV photography
A photographic exhibition by Sam Matengu through which the self-taught photographer explores the manipulation of light and ultraviolet paints. The production involved numerous artists of the arts fraternity in Namibia, including Sue Beukes, who all feature in the photographs with neon body paints. Matengu feels it is important to draw on the arts community in Namibia when producing works and in this series has the artists represent the strength and vulnerability of the community.
