Dreams, Nightmares, Reality, Future and Past
The public are invited to a panel discussion with Namibian writer and creative photographer, Masiyaleti Mwebe and author from Nigeria, TJ Benson on the topic of utopia, dystopia, and real life in African literature. The discussion will be moderated by well-known Namibian author, Sylvia Schlettwein.
Mbewe is well-known for her take on Afrofuturism and pop-culture that has manifested in writings, rich photographs and stimulating art installations. Born in Zambia and raised in Namibia and Botswana, her internal conversation is loaded with experiences and memories that redefine the understanding of Africa, its people and their future.
