Cinemaverse in April 2021 features the three short films developed last year with support through the Goethe Stage Project. This public screening also includes a questions and answers session with the film directors.
In no particular order, the films are:
Mukumo by Namafu Amutse
A queer boy navigating bullying by peers and judgement from his father takes a stand.
The Game by Jenny Kandenge
Ndanki and Nico find themselves locked in a room with two strangers and the only escape is playing the game.
Sacred Places by Lloyd Winini
Five friends find themselves lost in the never-ending tunnels of the Chinhoyi caves before the situation is complicated by inexplicable events and their true colours begins to show.
This screening is open to the public and has a reserved number of seats in compliance with social distancing regulations.
