The Screen in Transit is a Nigerian film club that aims to democratise African cinema and support the growing community of film makers and lovers across the country.
We currently host free monthly screenings in three cities; platforming short and feature films from contemporary and historical African filmmakers. We also provide spaces for filmmakers to premiere their new (or older) films and directly engage with our audiences across all of our locations.
We strongly believe in the power of the moving image and have made it our mission to cultivate accessible and affordable environments to engage with movies and the people that make them.
Upcoming Screening:
Lizard by Dir. Akinola Davies Jr.
Harmattan by Dir. Muyiwa Awosika
La Chapelle by Dir. Jean-Michel Tchissoukou
Lagos . Benin . Abuja
