In light of the recent developments regarding COVID-19 and due to the quarantine restrictions in Metro Manila, we regret to inform you that exam registrations are suspended until further notice.

Once we resume accepting exam registrations, we will update this page with the necessary information.

Due to the current situation, we do not accept any walk-in registrations. All registrations should be sent through our website or email.
  1. Fill out the online registration form and upload a scanned copy of your valid ID (we only accept the following IDs: passport, NBI clearance or UMID). 
  2. Wait for our email to confirm that slots are still available. We will also be sending our payment options.
  3. Pay the corresponding fees.

1.  The exam guidelines, terms and conditions for exam administration of the Goethe-Institut shall apply to all exams. (
1.1   All candidates are required to present proof of identification before the written and oral exams.
1.2   An exam date can be changed up to the deadline for exam registration (usually four weeks before the exam date).  Each booking change is subject to a fee equal to 10% of the exam fee. After the exam registration deadline, changes in the booking are no longer possible.
1.3   It is possible to withdraw from an exam. However, participants have no right to a refund of any exam fees already paid. (see Exam Guidelines § 12).
1.4   If a candidate does not appear in either the written or oral exam or arrives late for an exam, he/she shall be excluded from the whole exam. The exam fee will not be refunded.  No results shall be published.
1.5   If an exam is not taken for reasons of illness (see Exam Guidelines § 12), a doctor’s certificate should be submitted to the exam centre within 5 working days.  The exam fee will be credited for the next exam date. A 10% processing fee shall be charged.
1.6   Exam participants with special needs may take the exam in Manila under certain conditions for a specific period.  Please get in touch with the exam centre for special needs that you may have before register for an exam.
1.7   If the certificate is lost within ten years, a replacement certificate can be issued. A processing fee will be charged.
1.8   Personal data of exam candidates shall not be disclosed to another person. 

2.  Registration 
2.1   Interested parties may register in person at the exam centre or by e-mail or fax. A booking confirmation issued by Goethe-Institut Philippinen is required to complete the registration.  The registration form should be filled out completely and a piece of ID needs to be provided to complete registration.  Goethe-Institut Philippinen will not be liable for inaccuracies or errors in the forms submitted.
2.2   The exam fee must be paid in full upon registration.
2.3   Only registrations that are received by the responsible exam centre on time and that are properly completed will be considered. 

3.  Results and Certificates
3.1   Candidates may access their results on the platform following the instructions given on the day of the exam.
3.2   Certificates will be sent per courier to the address indicated upon the time of registration or handed out at the exam center on dates specified by the Language Department with proof of identity.

Examination results are available on-line 7 to 10 working days after the exam. The certificates will be printed out 4 to 5 working days after this.
