The Goethe-Institut can help you in your journey towards Germany through its project Mein Weg nach Deutschland. With support from the European Union through the Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund (AMIF), we organise the following free offers: 

  • Language skills enhancement workshops
  • Cultural events
  • Comprehensive infosessions, and
  • Practical advice to aid in pre-integration preparations.
Before leaving the  country, it is mandatory to reach a certain proficiency level in the German language depending on your intended purpose of stay.  If you're planning to move to Germany with your spouse or family, you need to have basic knowledge of the language (at least A1).  If you're aiming to go for vocational training or gainful employment, a minimum of B1 is required.
