In May 2024, Filipino German teachers from schools, universities, colleges, language schools, the Goethe-Institut and other institutions will once again come together to present, refresh and test their methodological, didactic and regional knowledge in a total of nine workshops within the DLT conferenceGerman as a Foreign Language Today – Trends, Tools, and Techniques.

In addition to the familiar and proven topics such as vocabulary work, phonetics and interculturality, the program also includes brand-new titles, e.g. learning German with gestures and Regional studies with AI.

Of course, networking also plays a key role at this event again: the publishers Cornelsen, Ernst Klett and Hueber will enrich our program with an exhibition of textbooks and teaching materials and offer additional workshops. And on Friday evening there will once again be a networking dinner.

The Philippine German Language Teacher’s Conference (DLT) is an annual gathering of German language teachers in the Philippines. It is organized and hosted by German European School Manila, Goethe-Institut Philippinen, German Embassy Manila and DAAD-Lektorat Philippinen.
