APDO - Asien Pazifik Deutscholympiade

The second Asian Pacific German Olympiad (APDO - Asien Pazifik Deutscholympiade)

The second Asian Pacific German Olympiad (APDO - Asien Pazifik Deutscholympiade) jointly organized by the Goethe-Institutes of Australia, Indonesia and Thailand  took place from 9 to 16 August in Bogor, Indonesia. Young German learners aged 15-17 from 11 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, Phillipines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam) participated in the German language competition. The categories in the competition were A1 (basic German language level) and A 2 (advanced German language level). Pakistan participated for the very first time bringing back home a bronze medal in the A1 category.

Moreover the following prizes were won:
1st prize in Science Poster Competition, sharing this prize with another participant
1st and 3rd Group Prize in Quiz
