Pasha Farms Visit
A day of sustainability

On the 18 February, as a part of the larger “Ecological sustainability” project from the region, GI-Pakistan organised a day’s excursion for students to Pasha Farms – a great escape from the concrete jungle that is Karachi.

With 5 different schools’ children in attendance, they participated in interactive discussions held by Ms. Afia Salam, Mr. Tariq Qaiser and Mr. Tofiq Pasha himself.

A nature-walk around the farm allowed the students to see first-hand how cauliflower, broccoli and other vegetables look like while still in the ground – the majority of which had no idea! Other activities included candle making and seed planting – not to mention, fawning over the farm’s newest little canine residents.
