The library is open to the public. Visitors can use media and obtain information free of charge. However, you have to become a member of the library to borrow books and other media.To register and obtain your membership card you fill in an application form and bring two passport size photographs and your NIC as well as a copy of it along. 
The annual membership fee is PKR 1200. 
 
Loan periods
Books, CDs and audio books: 2 weeks. 
Reference media may not be borrowed. Due to licence rights the borrowing of videos and DVDs is subject to tight regulations (for details please refer to the library team). 
 
Renewals 
Apart from prior reservations the loan period for media except videos and DVDs can be renewed for another 2 weeks.
