The world's largest conference for German as a second and foreign language the Internationale Deutschlehrerinnen- und Deutschlehrertagung (IDT) took place in Lübeck from July 28 to August 1, 2025 under the inspiring motto: „Vielfalt wagen – mit Deutsch“ (Dare Diversity – with German).

Through the support of the Goethe-Institut, educators from across the globe came together to exchange ideas, network, and participate in professional development focused on teaching German in diverse global contexts. Pakistan was proudly represented by eight teachers and stipend holders from our partner schools and institute, alongside our Head of Language Department, Maha Ali Jafarey, who participated in her role as the section head of Pakistan.

Their presence highlighted Pakistan’s growing engagement in the global German-language education community and fostered valuable international connections. We are proud to see our educators shaping and contributing to the future of German language teaching at such a significant global platform.
