A script writing workshop inspires emerging writers
The Goethe-Institut Pakistan Library successfully hosted "Story to Script to Action," an engaging scriptwriting workshop facilitated by renowned playwright and scriptwriter Uzma Sabeen. Bringing together aspiring writers, theatre enthusiasts, and storytellers, the workshop explored the creative journey of transforming an idea into a compelling script ready for the stage or screen.
Through interactive discussions, practical writing exercises, and personalized feedback, participants gained valuable insights into story structure, character development, dialogue, and the fundamentals of scriptwriting. The hands-on sessions encouraged creativity while equipping participants with practical tools to develop their own original scripts.
The workshop concluded on a highly positive note, with enthusiastic participation, inspiring discussions, and excellent feedback from attendees. It marked another successful initiative by the Goethe-Institut Pakistan in supporting creative writing and nurturing emerging voices in the performing arts.
