Considered to be one of the most controversial women of the 20th Century, Leni Riefenstahl is the artist and filmmaker behind famous Nazi propaganda films Triumph of the Will and Olympia. The documentary explores Riefenstahl’s legacy and complex ties to the regime, juxtaposing her aesthetics, self-portrayal, and biography, to the backdrop of atrocity.
