Registration
Examination candidates are obliged to familiarize themselves with the Examination Regulations. By registering for the examination and paying the examination fee, the candidate confirms that they have taken note of and accept the Examination Regulations as well as the Implementation Guidelines in their respective current versions.

Participation Conditions
2.1 Participation in the examination is independent of attendance at a language course at the Goethe-Institut.
2.2 Registration is only possible within the registration period. The registration deadline can be found under the examination dates on our website.
2.3 Medical certificates regarding specific needs of examination candidates must be submitted to the Goethe-Institut Bratislava by the day the registration deadline expires.
2.4 Examination candidates will be informed of the start time of the written and oral examinations by email one week before the date of the written examination.
General Information
3.1 Examination candidates must arrive punctually for the examination. In the event of lateness, the candidate will not be admitted to the examination room.
3.2 Examination candidates must present proof of identity (official identification document with a current photograph) for all parts of the examination.
3.3 Examination candidates must bring suitable writing materials to the examination.
3.4 Mobile phones, other electronic devices, dictionaries, and all other aids are not permitted during the examination. Exceptions are governed by the Implementation Guidelines for examination candidates with specific needs.
Withdrawal from the Examination
4.1 Withdrawal from the examination is possible up to 7 days before the date of the written examination. If withdrawal occurs within this period, the examination fee may be refunded minus an administrative fee of 50%. Withdrawal after this period is only possible for medical reasons and must be documented by a medical certificate. Postponement of the examination to the next available examination date is not possible.
4.2 Withdrawal after the start of the examination is not possible.
4.3 If an examination date is cancelled due to an insufficient number of participants, the full examination fee will be refunded.
Notification of Examination Results / Certificates
5.1 If the examination is passed, the results will be communicated to the examination candidate within 5 weeks after completion of the examination.
5.2 If the examination is not passed, a certificate stating this will be sent to the email address provided in the registration form within 5 weeks after completion of the examination.
Inspection of Examination Papers
6.1 Upon request, examination candidates may inspect their answers and evaluations after notification of the examination results. This inspection is only possible within three months after notification of the examination results. Examination tasks and model solutions will not be shown.
6.2 A separate appointment for inspection must be arranged with the language course office.
6.3 No excerpts, copies, or transcripts may be made during the inspection.
Repetition of the Examination
7.1 If only one part of the examination—either the written or the oral part—is not passed, the entire examination is considered not passed.
7.2 The entire examination may be repeated any number of times.
7.3 Partial repetition of only the written or only the oral part is not possible for non-modular examinations. For modular examinations, individual modules may be repeated any number of times. Further details are governed by the Examination Regulations.
Appeals
8.1 An appeal against the examination result must be submitted in writing to the management of the Goethe-Institut Bratislava within two weeks of notification of the examination result.
8.2 An appeal against the conduct of the examination must be submitted to the management of the Goethe-Institut Bratislava immediately after completion of the examination.
8.3 Further details regarding sections 8.1 and 8.2 are governed by the Examination Regulations.

Die Prüfungsteilnehmenden sind dazu verpflichtet, die Prüfungsordnung zur Kenntnis zu nehmen. Mit der Anmeldung zur Prüfung und mit der Bezahlung der Prüfungsgebühr bestätigt der/die Prüfungsteilnehmer/-in, dass er/sie die Prüfungsordnung sowie die Durchführungsbestimmungen in ihrer jeweils aktuellen Fassung zur Kenntnis genommen hat und anerkennt.
