Postcards Series

Photo series “Postcards from…” © Goethe-Institut

Postcards from… was launched in 2024, offering aspiring Sudanese photographers a unique opportunity to learn from and with the German documentary photographer André Lützen. Through a seven-day workshop held in different cities, participants refined their skills, explored creative techniques, and captured powerful and emotional moments.

The idea was originally developed by German photographer André Lützen and Sudanese photographer Alaa Kheir in the first edition - Postcards from Khartoum - andreluetzen

Each edition concludes with a public exhibition, showcasing the photographers’ work and offering a platform for emerging talents to share their perspectives. Click below to explore the individual collections from each city
