Scholarships for language courses in Germany
Interested in taking a training course at the Goethe-Institut in Germany?
The Goethe-Institut offers scholarships to teachers of German in Thailand, enabling them to take part in a variety of training courses in Germany.
1. Training Seminars
To be eligible for a scholarship from the Goethe-Institut Thailand, you must satisfy the following requirements:
You either teach German as a Foreign Language (DaF) or you train teachers of German.
You have not received a scholarship from Germany within the last 3 years.
You regularly take part in the training courses for teachers at the Goethe-Institut Thailand.
You are prepared to pass on the knowledge you acquire on the course when your return to Thailand.
You are proficient enough in German to be able to easily take part in conversations and discussions.
2. Language courses
To qualify for a language course scholarship from the Goethe-Institut Thailand, you must fulfil the following requirements:
You teach German either at a Thai secondary school or in the German department of a Thai university.
You have not received a scholarship from Germany within the last 3 years.
You regularly take part in the training courses for teachers at the Goethe-Institut Thailand.
You are prepared to pass on the knowledge acquired on the course when you return to Thailand.
You have passed the Goethe-Zertifikat B1 exam or higher.
